Mommy has been MIA!!! sorry!!!

Well, Mom has just had her hands full lately!! work has been nuts, the rescue has another fund raiser coming up..Pugtoberfest...on Oct 10 in Shepherdsville KY from 9-4. That has kept her very busy! But she also has not been feeling super happy lately due to some issues with a friend...boo!

The good news is that Rocket Pug..(above) is now medically cleared from Demodex!! yea!!! whoo hooo!!! he had his neuter done today and is going to meet a family this weekend that is very interested in him!!!

on a very sad note though..it was a tough time in rescue recently when we took in little Thea. Badly neglected and abused, she came to us with 3 legs (one she had tried to gnaw off because of a horrific skin allergy that was clearly driving her nuts....and it got so bad it had to be amputated), she had major skin infections, numerous breast tumors, alot of cancer in and around her lungs and heart, an enlarged heart...and on and on. Mom went to the vet to meet up with a KPR volunteer who had taken her for the appt so that she could get some pics. Well, in talking to the vet, and seeing the xrays...it was decided there was no hope for Miss Thea...so with the loving hands of our Mommy...and Candy( a wonderful loving KPR Foster Mom)....tiny, helpless little Thea went to the Rainbow Bridge. Mom did not want to post the photos of Thea..they are very hard to take...especially when we have no recourse legally against the previous owners. Unfortunately the county she came from does not prosecute for animal cruelty.
So you know, things are rough all over..the economy...the wars...the cruelty to animals...we all know how many things are negative out there. So Mom says..let's all focus on being nice, helpful and get as much Puglove as possible...oh and a few extra treats to your Pugs never hurts...oh..uhmmm...well, ok...MOM did NOT say that...the Pug Circus thought we would put our stamp on this post too!!!!
on a personal note...we sure hope the Posse's Daddy gets better very soon!!!!

We gave Mommy an OUCHIE!!!!! whoops!!!!

so what can we say? it was the saturday before the race...we had been cooped up all day!! we were bored and restless when it was time to eat dinner!!! we inhaled our food like we always do...geeeee what a shock....and then it was time to go outside!! Mommy, Rachel and Kristen were all in the kitchen and dining room when Mommy went to open the back door to let the first group of Pugs outside.......
well, have we EVER mentioned we don't have much in the way of house manners???!!! 3 of us rushed the door and one of us( we WON'T mention any names) got a bit snappy with the other two...Mommy did not think we were too serious so she reached down to scoop Ringo up out of harms way....and BAM it happened..she got punctured by an impatient Pug TOOTH!!! YIKES!!!!! well, human reflex kicked in...so of course Mommy jerked her hand away...Rachel picked up one pug...Kristen picked up another..and the others went outside..... Mom was running her hand under cold water trying to stop the bleeding! and there was alot of blood..:(

Rachel picked up the phone and started calling to see about getting someone to come and help out! see...we had campers in the front yard , out of town company coming in from KY, and well..just the whole race hoopla happeing! We had a paramedic out front..but he had indulged in alot of Whapatooey.....but was sober enough to say Mommy needed stitches! our Sister Katie who is a Nurse..came by on her way to work and said STITCHES!!! so off to the Immediate Care we went....home about an hour later..Mommy came in the door with 6 stitches in her finger. We all felt so badly that this happened! nobody meant to get snappy ...we were just wound up.. We are sorry Mommy!!!!!

On a LIGHTER note...Mr Dino the Wonder Pug went to his new Forever Home on Saturday too!!! what a big day it was! he is doing very well and fitting in nicely with his new family!! in fact...they are thinking about getting another Pug to be his sibling!!!! shhhh
don't tell...that might jinx it!!! keep your fingers and paws crossed!!!

Race time and Dino the Wonder PUG!!!

GENTLEMAN, START YOUR ENGINES!!!
well, it is race time in Speedway IN...we like it and hate it all at the same time!!! It is tough being a herd of lovable, yappy, fully
decked out PUGS when a troop of strangers that we see once a year..are in and out of our house all day!! How IS a Pug to get his or her's Beauty Sleep???!!!

We do realize, even though the humans won't admit it, they are here each year to see US not the cars that make all that noise a couple of blocks from our house!!!! we actually enjoy all the attention, but it stinks that we can't go in and out all day like we are used to!
Mommy and Daddy have to be very sure to ck our yard out after all the parking people leave though. A few years ago, PJ (RIP at the Bridge) got into some pre-soaked charcoal someone left behind our shed. He almost died from the toxic lighter fluid on the charcoal...he shed his entire Gastrointestinal lining...the vets did not think he would make it. They called Mommy at 3 in the morning and told her she needed to make a choice...let him suffer...or do the "right thing". well , it was hard and it took her about 3 hrs to pull herself together, call Daddy (he was working out of state) and to wake up our human sister and brothers. She drove to the ER vet crying all the way.... when she got there, they took her in a room, and the Vet walked in saying "we may have been a bit premature"...and the Tech walked in with PJ...he took one look at Mommy and KISSES KISSES KISSES and a WAGGING TAIL!!!! whoo hoo!!! He came home much later that night, and lived another 8 years!! Mommy and Daddy did not let people cook out for a long time! now everyone gets told...you leave something that hurts the PUGS...we will find you and hurt YOU!!! ok, they don't really mean they would hurt someone...but they do talk to everyone who parks to remind them to be clean and tidy! and they do a great job of policing the yard before we ever get to go out when the "party" is over!!! AND ..we have another new addition at our house...his pic is up in the right hand corner...sorry! Mommy is still learning the blogging process!!! anyway!!! his name is DINO the WONDER PUG!
He has been so good and is so cute! We got him yesterday and we already have people interested in adopting him...how cool is that???!!!
Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!!!

Foster Friday...a day late!! whoooops!!!

Well, in all the excitement with our bee sting here at the Circus last night, I completely forgot to do a Foster Friday Story!!! Meet Ollie now known as Frank!!!
Ollie was our first foster Pug!!

Brought home from my 1st Board meeting, we were to have him for a day or two. However, the battered emotional state he was in changed those plans. He was so damaged it was unreal.
In the parking lot, after the meeting, we tried to get him to come out of his crate for a potty break. He finally did, and when he actually went to the bathroom, he cowered like we were going to beat him...shaking and quaking, we got him into the crate, and into the car to head home. We gave him the name Ollie on the drive from Lville to Indy. Well, Mr Ollie within about 2 weeks was a completely different little pug! Everyday we showed him unending love and attention, what it was like to play with other pugs, and toys...well, clearly he had NO idea what those were to start out with! But he was a smart boy and caught onto the good life very quickly. Once he went for his neuter and vaccines, I took him to a home that had just been approved for adoption. I told them NO PRESSURE..but I think he would be great for you guys!!! They have an exisiting Pug in the househould...Annabelle AKA Nana Pug. Well, Ollie and I arrived and from the minute he went thru the door, it was as if he had lived there all his life!!! running around inside and out with Nana Pug...swiping her favorite toy from her!! !and then settling in on the top couch cushions behind his new Mom!!! I looked at her and said "the paperwork is in the car, should I go get it??!!" and the answer was a resounding YES!!!! Ollie will have been in his home now for 2 years...he is fat and sassy, loves his humans, and Nana Pug is his best buddy!!!! Sometimes the Fosters Pick their own families...that is certainly the case for Mr Ollie now known as Frank!!! and ps...the Frank name is from the Cars movie..NOT Men in Black!!!! The household has a little boy who loves the Cars characters!!! Frank (Ollie) is a true testament to how resilient a Pug is! He had without a doubt been beaten for potty accidents, did not know human love and touch, and did have a clue about toys! Now, he is livin LARGE!!!!!!!!

helloo helloooo hellooooo!!!!! what's puggin????

Hi everyone!! well we have had quite a couple of days!!! as you know some of us were selected to be on new Magnets KPR is selling!!! Mommy has posted picture!!! BUT..that is not the HALF of it!!! Last night...Mug n Buns got stung by a bee on his foot...it was TERRIBLE!!!! he was perfectly fine, running around like a PUG DOG should...ran up to Mommy goofing around with his Pug Butt in the Air Pose...and suddenly as he spun around to run to Daddy...BAM...his right rear foot drew up and that was all she wrote!!! Daddy picked him up, Mommy looked him over and could not find anything...at first!! so into the house we all went...Mugs for Benadryl Wrapped in Cheese and the rest of us to Supervise....yeah...that's it...we went to Supervise...NOT to get any cheese ourselves of course!! Because you know, it was ALL about Mugs at this point...errrrrr uuuuugggh...well, anyway!!! Mommy went ahead and called the Vet and thankfully, Dr V said NO you don't have to bring him in unless he breaks out in hives, starts to swell or has trouble breathing!!!! Dr V said Mommy is pretty good egg to go ahead and start the Benadryl!!! We know Mommy always has our backs!!!!! Mugs was pretty restless for about an hour, but finally settled down and went to sleep with Daddy in the chair. Daddy told us all this morning...ok...really he told Mommy and we were all evesdropping!! Shhh don't tell on us!!! ....anyway, Daddy told Mommy after Buns slept about 2 hrs, he hopped down off the chair and trotted back to the bedroom....looking back as if to say "ok, we are WAY past bedtime here...let's get to it!!!!" so Daddy turned off the lights and tv, and he and Mugs got into bed with the rest of us!!! This morning, Buns was a bit sluggish but fine...he is still a little timid on the one foot in terms of bearing full weight...but wow...soooooooo much better then last night!!!!! Never a Dull Moment with the PUG CIRCUS!!!!

Good Morning!!! Mom hasn't been feeling too well the last few days so it has been tough to convince her to blog for us!!! she has barely been on the computer at all!!! But today, we were all so excited that it was not too hard to convince her to share our big news! There is this awesome company here in Indy that makes the magnets that KPR sells online and in the PUGzone at our events!!! every so often, the company asks for pictures...they have phrases they are working on and like lots of picture options to try and create new magnets from!!! well, THIS time...we had 2 photos chosen!!!! the one above!!!! and the wording under it will say PUGaholic!!!!
and then a separate shot of Kirby and Colby in sweaters and the caption says" I work hard so my Pug can have nice things!" !!! How cool is that??
Well, Mom has lots of work to catch up on ...but we wanted to share the news!!!!!

'Nelope and 'Nunia's big adventure

well, it is done...completed that is. P and P have been delivered safely into the loving arms of their New Mommy!
Never before have we had a New Mom come with such a great show of support!! Not only did Mom come, Grandma, Grandpa and a friend too!!! wow....that's a lot of love for two little Pug Princesses!!
Now, before I even get started...would you CHECK OUT the new wardrobe for the girls!!!????? This showing does not even include the cool embroidered harnesses with matching ID tags!!!

The trip went well, we started out in our van...met Aunt Amy at Southport...where the suggestion was made that perhaps Aunt Amy should do the driving to the meeting spot because well, frankly because I would be a basket case and potential road hazard driving home!!! The girls LOVED the Fido Rido car seat as you can see!! so very comfy!!!!!

Could they seriously BE ANY CUTER!!!!????? Not a care in the world, with no concept of the changes that lie ahead for them!!!!

Traveling in our van initally as previously stated, they snuggled on their bed ...and yes, that went with them to their new home. They have loved this bed since the first night in our home!!!
Snuggled together ..as always, they were happy to ride in the car. When we reached the meeting point, it was only a matter of a few minutes before their New Mommy arrived. She jumped out of her car....and came running toward the girls...who were running toward her! totally happy to see anyone that seemed to love them....they willingly went right up to her! Tangling their leashes we all laughed, got them untangled, and Petunia promptly decided to poop!!! GOOD GIRL we all said laughing!!!! Grandpa was taking pictures as was I, Aunt Amy had Petunia...and Geni Jo...new Mommy had Penelope!!!
Grandma took turns loving on each of them. They told us how Geni Jo's Co-workers had surprised her with a huge basket of toys and treats to welcome her little girls!! How cool is that??? Once we went over the Paperwork, contracts were signed, all instructions regarding foods, meds etc were explained...I felt my stomach tighten because I knew...here it was...the actual moment I had to let go. My voice breaking, I said...It's Time...I have to leave...Amy promptly agreed because well...number 1. she knows me well, and number 2. she has been thru this too. Everyone started to move about...Geni Jo reassured me, as did her Mom of what a great life they would give the girls...I reminded them...."I have no doubts letting them go to you...it is just very hard to say goodbye!"...Geni Jo handed me a card, and beautiful pot of Impatiens ...she thanked me for taking such good care of her girls... As I kissed the girls one last time...I told them I loved them ,and to make me proud...to be the good girls for their New Mommy that they were for me! I headed to the car and as I got in...made the mistake of looking back...Petunia was looking at me..."where are you going??" all over that little face....I looked the other way...started bawling like a baby...Amy comforting me...saying don't look back...don't look back...and I did not. I even held my hands to the side of my face to resist temptation of looking at them one last time.....I could not let myself...I just couldn't. As we drove away, with me crying....Amy commented on how nobody had ever shown up with a Car Seat, Wardrobe and so much family/friend support before to pick up their newly Adopted Pug...she reminded me that this home, these people, clearly...CLEARLY ...GET what we do and why we do it and we both agreed it will be tough to top this drop off!!! I am delighted that someone like Geni Jo will be the Mommy to my little ladybugs! They deserve a life of fun and love and without a doubt that is what they will have now. God Bless you Geni Jo...You thanked me...I should be Thanking YOU!!!!!!

Hi Everyone...Annie here, Mama to The Pug Circus. This is going to serve as the first Foster Friday Blog.
It is going to be a very emotional
day tomorrow so I am writing this
tonight and am hopeful I can do so
without crying!!! Fostering is
such an amazing thing to do.
When Penelope and Petunia first came to us on Feb 28, they were so very ill, in fact Petunia
was completely listless and apathetic. We were worried about both of them on all levels...their physical and emotional well being were so compromised.

Coming out of a Hoarding Home with 174 other animals, they did not understand the love and affection a Human could show them. Consumed with Demodex, a topical yeast infection , and a Severe Upper Respiratory Infection, they could hardly interact with each other or with us.
Obviously..the first order of business was to get to the Dr. They were scraped to determine the extent of Demodex...typically to diagnose this illness, they Vet needs to see 5 Demodex Mites per field thru a microscope...they stopped counting at 8!!! Poor Petunia was very nearly hairless and Penelope had what I referred to as a Pug Mowhawk! she had a wide strip of fur down her back ..and that was all!! Over the first few days with meds in them, their personalities began to emerge, and one thing was very certain. These two little girls could NOT be separated!!! KPR has a policy of keeping Bonded Pairs together...thank GOODNESS!! These two are so in sync with each other that when they run , if you see them from a side view...it looks like ONE pug running!!! their leg spans match up perfectly!!!!!

Within just a few short weeks an amazing thing started to happen....kisses and cuddling became part of every day...and they loved this!!! However, I thought on many occasions I needed to be an Octopus to have a lot of arms to reach ALOT of PUGS all at one time!!! With P and P, you have to play with, love on or hold them both at the same time!! Otherwise the one left on the floor will let you know in NO uncertain terms how unhappy she is that her Sister is getting the attention!!! Even at the Vet it would be hilarious...one up on the exam table...the other on the floor barking away as if she was saying" She is MY Sister...PUT HER BACK DOWN HERE WITH ME!!!!!". Learning how to play with toys and other Pugs became a huge part of each day for the girls. They really enjoy the company of other Pugs...they like to chase and be chased!!!! They adore PORK CHOMPS!!! and no matter how many are on the floor...they are more then willing to request, politely of course!!!...that you open a new pack for them. They are not particular about the flavor...they just love their Chomps as we call them!!

It was pretty astounding to watch not only there emotional trust build with us, but the change in their appearance as well. Once the Demodex was starting to resolve, overnight bursts of hair would show up all over them! Such pretty girls already...they just turned from the proverbial ducklings into swans!!! Unfortunately it was not to last for 'Tunia...she has recently had a flare up of the Demodex. Truly, this is not a surprise considering she had been more profoundly affected initially. And in truth, once a dog has suffered a bout of Demodex, the odds of it recurring are strong. On a newer treatment protocol, 'Tunia will certainly have a less difficult time of battling the Demodex this time!

And now, the hard part. The Farewell. This is tough to write, and yet such a good thing too. For over 4 mos now, we have been so lucky to be a part of helping "Tunia and "Nelope evolve from frightened, sick little Pugglets to the two vivacious and happy go lucky little girls they are today!
At PugPalooza, a lovely young lady fell in love with the girls and as of tomorrow....Fri July 3rd, they will be in her home, starting their new life. I have no doubt they will live like the Princesses they are...and will be loved, cared for, and treated incredibly well. Their New Mom has emailed me several times over the last few weeks for tips, schedules, type of food, favorite treats etc etc etc. She wants to make their transfer to a new home as seamless as possible. That alone tells me she will provide quality care and love!!! She has purchased harnesses for them, with their names embroidered on them to start their new wardrobe!!! How cool is that??!!! Only twice before have I allowed myself to get sooooooo attached to a Foster (s)...those of you who know me know this was Princess Sophia Maria the Princess Pug, and Peyton .....those are other Friday Foster Stories for other Fridays!!! Everyone always tells me they can't foster..they would get too attached. I won't lie, you do...But I can ALSO tell you...there is an amazing feeling inside when you hand over the Pug(s) to their new Family. And when you get updates....you feel like you had a small part in making that Pug or Pugs life better. You made a difference...so give me the Bittersweet...give me the tears as I drive away...and send me my next Foster. Because no matter what, I would not do a thing differently. Not one single thing. So Farewell my Beauties!!! this Mommy and Daddy love you very much and will look forward to seeing emails from your New Mommy with how well you are doing...and we will count down the months between events when we get to see those beautiful, happy little faces again. Don't forget us....because we will NEVER forget you!!! We love you 'Tunia and 'Nelope and we will miss you!

A calm and peaceful Wednesday...hmm what is wrong with that picture???!!!!

Well, it has been one of those days! Mom has been so busy working this morning!!! we just hung out and did what we do best....SLEEP!!
Mom was very happy that we managed to sleep straight thru till 6am today!! Hope she does not expect that every day!!!

Now, it has been suggested that we do a little blurb called Foster Fridays! Mom REALLY Likes this idea! she will do just about anything to help promote the Pugs of KPR!!!!! It is always funny to us when Mommy brings home a Foster Pug. Whenshe first joined KPR as a
Volunteer...the one thing everyone said to her was NO FOSTERING!!! they were so afraid she would not let a Foster go to a new home!!! HA HA!! Her very first Board Meeting, yep..you got it! she brought home a Foster Pug!!!! and that was all she wrote!! since then, there have been alot of Foster Pugs thru this house! There are sometimes it is really hard, but she always let's go..ok, not ALWAYS!! Kirby and Colby were fosters..and well, there was NO way she or Daddy could let them go!!! and before them, Reggie...we called him RP the PR Pug. It was very sad when he died only 8 mos after coming to live with us. Mommy had a very, very hard time with it and was so depressed. But she got thru it the only way she knew how, and brought in Mugsy...aka Mug n Buns. Interestingly enough, even though she loved him right away, she wasn't sure if he was the "RIGHT" Pug ...he doesn't kiss!!! OH, he will lick your hand, leg, neck, back, foot etc...just no kisses on the face!! Mommy loves Pug Kisses so it was hard for her when he snorted instead of kissing!!! But one day, about 2 weeks into having Buns (as we call him) here in the house...he was sitting next to Mommy..she looked over at him and BLLOOOOPP!!! It happened!!! a nice kiss on the face!!!! Mommy started crying and knew Buns had to be a permanent part of our family!!! Of course, he STILL doesn't kiss on the face hardly ever!!! but that is ok!!! We will take a snort from Buns anyday!!!!!

KPR NEEDS FOSTER HOMES

The picture to the right is a BEFORE shot
The picture up top...AFTER...all they needed was some
good meds, and TLC!!!

ok, so this is Mom..aka Annie!!! I wanted to take a moment to post about Fostering. Currently, Kentuckiana Pug Rescue is just like every other rescue out there. We are struggling to keep up with the overwhelming surrenders on a weekly basis. Recently, we had to turn to a fellow rescue to take 7 Pugs as our Foster Homes are Full!! If you know of a Puglover...or if you are one yourself, please consider filling out a Foster Application on our website. We are working in the states of IN and KY, so you must be a resident in one or the other. The process is simple, you fill out the application, we send a volunteer to do a home visit and then you are contacted by the Foster Coordinator in your state. If approved, KPR will cover the cost of all medical expenses with the proviso that you utilize a KPR approved Vet in your area. All we ask of our Foster Homes is to provide: Love, Compassion, and trips to the Vet. How much better does it get???!!!
Currently, due to such a shortage of Foster Homes, KPR has been unable to accept any surrenders for a few weeks now. We really want to see the "doors open" again to Pugs in need very soon.
Fostering is rewarding. We took in Penelope and Petunia on Feb 28, 2009. They were in a home that had over 174 animals in it..deplorable conditions. Both babies (6 mos old at the time) were "ate up" with Demodex, had an upper respiratory infection, and a topical yeast infection. They were on several medications and are battling yet another mild outbreak of the demodex . They are by far, 2 of the happiest little Pugglets we have ever seen. NOTHING has kept them down once they started feeling better! Bonded like no other pair I have seen...and well, we have Kirby and Colby and they are pretty bonded....these two are joined at the hip! Hilarious to watch, they love their wading pool and enjoy running and barking at NOTHING!!! geeee...sounds like a Pug to me!!! They will be going to their Forever Home in a few days. While bittersweet..because we love them so, it will be a rewarding moment to see their new Mama hold them and drive them off to a wonderful future full of all the love and attention they could ever imagine. So think about giving Fostering a chance...it is such a selfless thing to do for such defenseless little animals!! the smile on the new family's face will be all the reward you could ever hope for!!!!

Toilet Paper...yes, I said Toilet Paper

Frankly I am not sure why Mom even buys us toys. We are basically little Billy Goats that would far prefer to eat paper products then chew on toys. Ok, some days we are like that!!! My favorite thing to do in the whole wide world...besides lick everyone's ears to the point of annoying the crap not only out of the other Pugs but my parents too...is to eat Toilet Paper. I have overheard Mom say on more then one occasion that she and Daddy should pick ONE brand of TP and buy ALOT of stock in it!!!! I don't know why she says that!! I guess it COULD have a little something to do with my bad habit. OH, by the way , it's me...you know...Millie Pooh Bean!!! I love to sneak down the Hallway in Pug Ninja Mode...round the corner...cocking my head to each side to be certain I have not been detected...grab the end of the TP and take off...hell bent for leather just as fast as I can down the hall, into the living room, and up on the couch!!! The TP is wafting and billowing behind me all the way. It is quite pretty actually. .... I think so anyway!! then I proceed to eat as much as I can before Mom or Dad jumps up to take it away from me!!!! I know it is such a waste of TP ..but I sure have fun doing it!!!

Chillaxin!

Lots of fun today just hanging out this afternoon! Mom got home from work about noon, so we have been in and out and all about the backyard till we landed on the couch!!! Maggie is licking Mom's leg. She is crazy our Maggie Monkey Moo!! Mom has been working on some stuff for KPR the Pug Rescue! There is a great Fund Raiser in just a few weeks called The 500 Festival of PUGS! Mom is very busy getting the details put together.

We just got our dinner and YUUUUMMMY!!! we got Bananas with our kibble tonight! It is always a surprise between Bananas and Apples in our dinner bowls!! The Dr told Mommy to get some weight off of Queen Coco when she was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure (CHF). Dr Lesh said if Coco lost 2 lbs it would prolong her life!! Now, Mommy had been told many many times that most of us needed to lose a few LBS!!! BUT Mommy always had our back!!!! In the Winter Time if she took one of us to the Dr and was told to put us on a diet...she would tell the Dr that we were suffering from that Seasonal Affective Disorder and we overate to compensate!! In the Summer she would say we were working off the Winter Weight!!! But with Coco sick, Mom had to get serious so she cut back our kibble and added fruit and veggies to our dinner bowls!!!
Now we have all lost alot of weight and look really trim and fit. Ok, so Ringo Bingerton is still a bit portly, but nothing like what he used to be...shhhhh don't tell him I said that!!!!

This is our Houseguest Pug Noe!! her real name is Noelani!! she lived in Hawaii at one time!!! She is a cutie!!!

That mean motorcycle next door!

Here I (Levi) was, just sleeping on Mommy and Daddy's bed when all this rumbly noise came from outside the window waking me up!!! We like our next door neighbor, but he rides this very noisy motorcycle!!!! and it scares us sometimes when he starts it up.

It has already been a typical active morning today! Maggie Monkey woke up first today, but she settled back down next to Mom within a few minutes, so we all got about 10 extra minutes of sleep!!!

so that was pretty nice! then everyone started bolting off the bed (though Daddy helps Maggie since she is blind) and trotting..ok, we admit it...RUNNING to the kitchen for breakfast because well, we have NO manners and always behave like we haven't eaten in 10 days! But Mom fed us, then we started the Pug Shuffle...this group in, this group out...you know the drill. Well, maybe you do. See, I (Levi) I can be a butthead! there...I said it. Isn't that half the battle? that is what I hear HUMANS say!!! Hi, I am Levi and I am an Alpha! So when I get my boxers in a bunch, I act out on my Pug family sometimes. I can be a devil. I don't MEAN to be one, but I am!!! ANYWAY...once the Pug Shuffle is over, Mom brings out Noe...our HouseGuestPug. Noe has been with us since the middle of May. Her Mom is in Europe but is due back this week. She has been hangin out with P and P, Mug n Buns, Ringo , Kirby and Colby and having so much fun!!! Hopefully she won't be too lonely when she goes back to her home though I guess I overheard my Mom say she was going to suggest a companion Pug for Noe!!! Good Thinkin Mom!!!! see...Mom is the Vice President of Kentuckiana Pug Rescue and her BFF is the Pres! so I bet they know where Noe's Mom could adopt a Pug!!!!!
Well...ta-ta for now...Mom has to get a project done at one of her stores today!

some fun pictures from our house

A Virgin Blogger

Greetings from the PUG CIRCUS!!! We are Virgin Bloggers and are doing this because a Pug Friend suggested it would be fun!!! We are :

Queen Coco Puff, Prince Leviticus aka Levi, Princess Millenium aka Millie Pooh Bean, Ringo Bingerton, Maggie Monkey Moofassa Passa, Kirby and Colby!!! Also known as the Crazy 8 Pug Pack!!! Our Mommy is the Vice President of Kentuckiana Pug Rescue (www.kentuckianapugs.com) so lots of times we have visiting Pugs in and out of our home! These Pugs are not as lucky as we are. They don't have a big king sized bed to sleep in, or nice bowls of food in the morning and at night, and they generally have not been to see a Dr for a long time...if ever. We love helping out the other Pugs. Ok, well ...most of us do...but not Prince Levi!
Levi is a bit of an alpha. When he gets devilish Mommy calls him a Booger Butt...sometimes worse!!! When we all act out , she calls us The Children of the Corn! We usually ignore her though and keep right on being little stinkers!!!
